R. Wallace Sterling Flatware In "Violet" Pattern

A truly gorgeous set of ‘Violet’ sterling silver flatware made by R. Wallace & Sons Mfg. Co. of Wallingford, Connecticut. The handles are embossed in an ornate floral pattern which feature violets. This set includes 7 dinner knives with sterling handles and stainless steel blades, 8 dinner forks, 8 salad forks, 6 teaspoons, 8 soup spoons, 12 iced tea spoons, 2 large serving spoons, a carving set with sterling handles and stainless steel blades, 1 large serving fork, 1 pickle fork, 1 ladle, 1 sugar spoon, 1 sauce ladle and 1 butter knife, This pattern is from 1904 and was discontinued in 1996. Not monogrammed. Includes a wooden felt lined silver storage chest with walnut colored finish, handles to the sides, drawer below and lock and key.
Condition
Chest has some scratches, sterling needs a light polish and has some light scratches.
