Item Details

An antique spinet style flip-top walnut writing desk. The top folds back like a spinet, with a pullout center writing surface, and small drawers on each side finished in a bird’s-eye maple veneer. The interior contains a contrasting bird’s-eye maple center drawer and small letter and paper slots. Detailed with a carved dash and dot trim edge, this desk includes a scalloped apron with a pullout knee hole drawer below and turned tapered legs with oval medallions. Desk is made with walnut, and walnut and maple veneers.

Condition

Wear consistent with age and use. Chip out of wood at corners and rear. Some nicks to the surface.
