"Marie Laveau" Voodoo Queen Doll by C.V. Gambina

An original Gambina New Orleans doll, Marie Laveau. An interesting history figure of New Orleans lore, Laveau is said to have been the reigning Voodoo Queen of New Orleans in the 1800s. In this doll, the queen’s outfit has a red sash and headscarf with yellow accent. She sports a blue and white blouse and skirt with an ecru linen underskirt and bracelets, earrings and brooch. She wears black shoes. The tag states that this is #275, handmade in New Orleans 2005. Stand is included. For more information on Laveau, see link at right.
