Vintage Cincinnati Time Recorder Company Time Clock

Item Details

A vintage Cincinnati Time Recorder Company time clock. It features a metal clock face with Arabic numerals set in an oak cabinet. A glass door encloses the clock and locks with a brass key. The oak structure includes a time punch system activated by a knob, which produces a loud bell ring when pushed down. The internal gears and ink ribbon that print time cards are protected behind a removable metal plate. These mechanisms are stamped with the serial number 10931. Also included are fragments of an instruction manual, as well as a business card for the company from which the clock was presumably purchased. The manual indicates that the clock is a part of the number fourteen series of clocks. Clock untested.

Condition

Wear consistent with age and use. The clock face has moderate scratches and the ink ribbon is dry. The top has minor water damage and a small space where two boards meet.
