Set of Four Lionel Barrymore Talio-Crome Reproduction Prints
Item Details
Four talio-crome reproduction prints after original etchings by American artist Lionel Barrymore (1878 – 1954), titled, Point Magu; Purdy’s Basin; San Pedro; and Quiet Waters. The imagery is largely based around harbor towns and boat life. Artist signature to plate in bottom right corners, titles to plate in bottom left corners. Prints are set in neutral paper mats behind glass and presented in simple wooden frames with black painted finish. To the verso of each frame is affixed a Closson Cincinnati sticker. To the versos of Quiet Waters and San Pedro, a short passage of artist information is affixed.
Condition
- prints are in good condition. Yellowing of paper visible, consistent with age. Frames are in fair condition with damage to corners, edges and finish.
