Item Details

A circa 1915 Western Electric Company candlestick telephone. The telephone is comprised of a round brass base, cylindrical column and an adjustable earpiece. The earpiece has a black plastic cone and a corded handset to the side. Marked to base ‘Western Electric, Made in U.S.A.’ and has three patent dates listed ‘Aug. 16 04, Sept. 13 04 and Jan. 26 15’.

Condition

- splits to the electric cords and a loose screw to the adjustable earpiece. Tarnish to brass. Could not be tested at the time of cataloging due to splits in the wire.
