An original oil on board after work by French painter Maurice Utrillo (1883-1955), rendered by German artist Paul Erbe. The original oil depicts a Parisian street scene with the great church of Sacre Coeur at Montmartre to background. Several signatures are visible to lower edge, the signature of Paul Erbe to the left and ‘Maurice Utrillo’ titled to the right; indicating that the work is after Utrillo. Attached plaque to frame reads; ‘Paris, Paul Erbe 1894-1972, After Utrillo’. Paul Erbe AKA Paul Heritage (born 21 May 1894 in Munich -29 February 1972). Presented on board and housed in gold tone wood frame.
