Group of Seven Hand-Tinted Engravings by Erhard Kirschstein

A group of seven hand-tinted engravings, all signed by the artist Erhard Kirschstein. Kirschstein (1920-1972) was a German born artist from Berlin known for his engravings and artwork depicting places in his city. This group dates from the 1950s and includes: two copies of the engraving for the Brandenburg Gate; a copy of Reichstag, the Parliment Building; the Berlin Airlift Memorial on Platz der Luftbrucke; the very interesting Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church set amid more modern structures; the Tripandom, or House of World Cultures; a radio tower in Berlin. All are unframed, but are within white mattes.
Condition
A bit of discoloration on the white mattes bearing the title and artist signature, some crimping in the corners.
