19th Century C.W.C. Co. Hunting Case Pocket Watch

Item Details

An antique pocket watch with a C.W.C. Co. hunting case. This beautiful, gold-plate pocket watch from the late 19th century is on a chain and is still in working condition. The case is made by Crescent Watch Case Co. and their star and moon trademark is etched inside. One side of the case flips out to read a personal engraving: ‘To Hanno from Lou, Christmas 1904’. The other side flips open to the watch, which has Arabic numbers and movement made by HW Gilmore & Company. To the front of the watch are etched leaves and a small farmhouse. No. 1306315.

Condition

In working condition. The back side of the watch with the engraving does not have a clasp to close it securely, but this appears to be intentional.
