1940 Regency Style Mahogany Two Part China Cabinet
Item Details
A Saginaw Furniture Shops 1940 Regency style mahogany two part china cabinet. The top hutch offers four glass panels with diamond pattern molding to the fronts, two shelves to the interior with plate grooves. The bottom cabinet offers a center butler’s desk to the top flanked by two drawers and three drawers and two cabinets below that. Each of the drawers has machine cut dovetail construction with antiqued brass open work flower back plates and embossed straight pulls; four curved top pillars with fluted carvings. A key is needed to open the cabinet and butler’s desk, included. A label to the front left drawer lists the maker’s name and another states the piece is ‘Genuine Mahogany’.
