Original "Elf Child" Linocut Print by Helen Lijl
Item Details
An original linocut print titled Elf Child by Nebraska artist Helen Lijl. The print is in stark black against the white of the paper. It depicts a female elf walking with an uprooted tree in her hand. She has large, inquisitive eyes and a pleasant expression, with her hair pulled up into a bun at the nape of her neck. She wears a flowing gown and is barefoot. A crow is at her feet. The print is presented under glass with a white mat in a simple black frame. It is titled and signed in pencil by Lijl to the lower margin. Ready to hang.
Condition
There is some minor foxing to the print paper.
