Antique Oliver Cast Iron Miter Saw

An antique Oliver Machine Company No. 0 cast iron miter trimmer/cutter. Anvil shaped apparatus bears a patent date of June 19, 1900. Constructed with two blades on opposite sides, which remain very sharp and slide easily using the pivoting bar handle at the center. It features angle adjustment hardware at the front. These machines are still known to be used by picture frame makers.

Condition

Light wear consistent with age and use.
