A rare Neil Armstrong and Joe Nuxhall autographed golf hat. Astronaut Neil Armstrong and former Cincinnati Reds pitcher and broadcaster, Joe Nuxhall, both signed the bill of this Jack Nicklaus Sports Center golf cap. They signed their names in black ink pen. Neil Armstrong, the first man to set foot on the moon, rarely autographed anything despite his fame. Joe was one of the most talented Cincinnati Reds baseball players. He was the youngest player ever to play in Major League baseball, and his announcing of Reds games was unique. His famous phrase, “rounding third and heading for home” has been immortalized on the outside wall of the Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati, Ohio. These signatures have been authenticated by James Spence Authenticators (JSA); their sticker is on the underside of the bill, and a full letter comes with this item.
Condition
Autographs are very light and the hat shows signs of little use.
