Vintage Bronze U.S. Army Uniform Buttons

Item Details

A selection of ten vintage bronze United States Army uniform buttons. This style of button was introduced in 1902 by the Waterbury Button Co. who had made buttons for the military for many years. These buttons are marked ‘Waterbury Button Co. CONN’on the back. This marking changed in 1944 when the company changed its name.
Buttons are highly detailed with the United States great seal on the front. Bronze buttons were used for field uniforms.

Condition

No signs of use or wear, one button has a small sticky spot from foreign matter but it doesn’t appear to have damaged the button.
