A collection of postal stamps and old post cards. There are two stamps that are mounted in lockets, one is a 5 cent John Copley-American Artist stamp in a brass housing, and the other is a 10 cent First Kentucky Settlement postmarked stamp in a metal gold tone housing. There is an assortment of postmarked stamps that have been torn off of letters, some from England. Highlights from the other stamps include a full sheet of 13 cent commemorative U.S. bicentennial stamps of the flags of all 50 states, a 20 stamp sheet of 37 cent merengue, salsa, cha cha cha, and mambo dance stamps, and 12 stamps in a partial sheet of commemorative U.S. bicentennial John Paul Jones 15 cent stamps. There are six U.S. postcards from 1907-08, and another from Cuba, as well as a modern lighthouse postcard from North Carolina and a booklet of postcards from Nassau, Bahamas. Also included is a small book of selected poems titled ‘Good Morrow’, and is signed Christmas 1893.
