This incomplete set of ‘The International Critical Commentary’ consists of 34 volumes. The series was pubished by T.&T. Clark, Edinburgh. The author and copyright date vary per volume. The copyright dates range from 1897-1986. The set contains two volumes for ‘Esther’ and two for ‘Galatians’. Each is bound in green cloth with gilt lettering on the spine. Condition
With the copyright dates ranging from 1897-1986, the books show normal wear for age and usage. The majority of books have tight bindings and clean text pages; three have cracked bindings. Some volumes have underlining of text and writing in the margins which does not distract from the text. Pencil markings and previous owner’s names appear on the front endpapers of some volumes. Foxing has occurred in some volumes, especially the earlier copyright dates. Preview for own assessment.
