Item Details
A vintage Cincinnati Watch Company open face pocket watch with Elgin National Watch movement. This mixed metal pocket watch is designed with a hinged open face silver tone case, a white dial with black roman numerals and lower stop watch. The rear case opens for winding and black cord includes a winding key. The case back is marked Dueber Silverine Canton O, with serial number 62342. The serial number indicates this watch is thought to be produced in the early 1880s since Dueber moved to Canton in the 1880s. Also marked Patent Pinion. The movement is 1602760. This watch appears to be working but not tested for accuracy.
