An original acrylic on canvas garden landscape by artist Jose Francisco Lopez Salcedo (Peruvian, b. 1955). Lopez Salcedo, also known under his pen name as Lopesalcedo, received his formal fine art education at the Escuela de Bellas Artes, Lima, studying amongst well known artists such as Leonel Velarde and Felix Rebolledo and has exhibited internationally. The impressionistic style painting depicts a stone stairway lined by a lush floral garden sprinkled with hues of pink, red, orange and white flowers amongst a green forest. The background is lined with tall trees, making a small portion of a cloudy blue sky visible. Signed in lower right margins. The painting is presented in a black and silver painted wood frame with foliate detail.
