Powell Limited Chest With Ornate Carvings

Item Details

A Powel Limited oval top mahogany veneer chest with ornate carvings. There is a small drawer to the top and two larger drawers, all with machine-cut dovetail constructions. The beautiful carvings include vine like carvings on the face of the drawers that extend to the sides and carved lion heads on the front. The piece is supported by lotus-shaped feet with carved accents. There is a maker’s label to the central drawer that lists the chest as model number 794-1080.
