An English miniature original oil on board, titled Gale on the Moors by Robert J Hall. Piece depicts wind blown trees with a windmill behind a pond below stormy skies. Signed by the artist ‘R.J. Hall’ and dated 10/72 to the lower right. Painting is housed in a gold gilded wood and plaster frame with artist’s name and information with a paper label on which reads, ‘Oil Original’ (with the stated title) on the back.

Condition

chip on the frame corner and gilding worn off in places.
