An original watercolor on paper painting by an unknown artist with an incredible folk art whimsy. The artist has created a laughable scenario transpiring around a game of cards and a jug of moonshine. Two younger card players, feasibly brothers, are playing a game of cards with an older gentleman. One of the two younger men has removed his footwear, barefoot under the table, he is handing his friend a card under the table. What a couple of cheaters! The painting is immaculately presented in an antique frame with gold paint, and designs in low relief, with a pair of mats to edge, under glass.
Condition
Good, chipping to frame consistent with age. Frame backing was at one time removed and has been re-taped.
