An original oil on canvas impressionistic style landscape by artist Martha Cristel (Peruvian, b. 1960s). Cristel is a self taught painter based in Lima, Peru, whose landscapes are painted with self-created tools such as brushes and palette knives. This landscape is comprised of oil on canvas with palette knife application, depicting the a small round fountain pouring into a flower lined pond and a beautiful home tucked in the forest along the background. This is signed to the lower left corner. The painting is presented in a foliate carved white painted wood frame by Gallery 22.
