A 1786 Spanish colonial 1/2 escudo gold coin featuring the visage of King Charles III. The front of the coin features his profile and reads, ‘D.G. HISP.R, 1786, CAROL III’, indicating Charles the 3rd of Spain. The back features the Spanish Coat of Arms. Minted in Madrid.
