Cuckoo-Quail Clock with Carved Fox and Raven

Item Details

A black Forest style cuckoo-quail clock with superb carving and three pine-cone weights. The carving depicts a fox with glass eyes at the bottom of the dial with a raven above at the peak that seemingly taunts the fox below with a grape in the beak. Clusters of grapes and leave are applied at the sides. The clock has two windows that open to allow the tiny birds to chirp and sing at the quarter hour.

Condition

The clock is excellent in appearance due to the detailed carving but will need to be serviced to operate.
