A July 4, 1871 Willcox and Gibbs treadle sewing machine in original cabinet. This unique sewing machine is known as ‘The Silent Sewing Machine with Automatic Tension’. This machine is in beautiful condition with original logo. The treadle foot plate is very ornate and is made to perfectly place your feet while sewing. One side can fold up for additional sewing area. There are three drawers to hold notions on the right side of the cabinet. Please view the many photos to see all the detailing and dates from the 1800s on this. All of the original attachments and book are also included. Plus the ‘Truck Marker’ attachment with most of the original box. *
Condition
all movable parts move. It appears to only be missing the belt from the machine to the treadle wheel. The top removable cabinet has minor water damage.
