Vintage U.S. Military Officer's Field Desk Wood Drawer Interior

Item Details

A U.S. military officers field desk. The desk is painted military green with black riveted trim and hinges. The brass closure on the front is new. The trunk has leather strap handles to the sides and opens from the top by hinge. Inside are compartments for storage and postal items, and a slide-out tray. The trunk is labeled with a brass plaque marked, ‘Belber Trunk and Bag Co.’ with the date ‘1-31-42’ and some other identifying information.
