Vintage Terracotta French Historic Figures
Item Details
A set of vintage figurines by Antoine Desgodetz from France (1653-1728). The six figurines represent Louis the XIV and members of his royal court. Represented are Louis himself, a woman with flaming red hair in a blue dress, a lady in pink with a blue headdress, a gentleman soldier, a dandy in yellow and a maiden in simple white with a red overdress. All made of terracotta and hand painted.
Condition
Some paint is missing from some of the figures. The lady in the blue dress has a slight crack inside.
