Vintage Chinese Checker/Checker Game Boards
Item Details
A collection of brightly colored vintage Chinese checker/checker board games. There is a circa 1953 ‘San Loo Chinese Checkers’ game board with a checkers board on the reverse from the Northwestern Products Co., of St. Louis, Mo. The cardboard game boards are framed by a metal frame in which marbles may be stored. There are also seven tin Chinese checkers/checker board sets manufactured by the Ohio Art Company. The largest one dates from the 1960s and has inset pockets to store the game pieces. The other four boards vary somewhat in design, age, and condition. Several of them contain glass and/or plastic marbles.
Condition
The boards vary in condition from good to fair.
