An original oil on canvas titled Glymer’s Mill by Pennsylvania artist Joseph DeThomas (1902-1983). The painting depicts a rural mill house, tucked in the stark fall forest with a creek running through and roof covered bridge in the distance. Along the dirt road, shows a man driving a horse drawn carriage waving to the mill owner. The artwork is signed to the lower right corner and labelled to the verso ’Glymer’s Mill Buck County Pennsylvania’. The artwork is presented in a wood and gold tone lined frame.
