Ansonia "Virginia & Group" #1121 Clock, Circa 1904

A circa 1904 Ansonia Virginia & Group #1121 clock. The clock boasts a dramatic topper scene illustrating a cavalier on horseback in the act of spearing a wild boar. The clock has a fancy gilt dial with individual chevron numerals and curved frieze panels in a silver finish showing idyll garden courting scenes. The ebonized case has ornate scrolled feet festooned with shells and garland. The key wound movement chimes on the hour and half hour, a brass door at the back allows access to the pendulum.
Condition
The clock is very good in appearance. There is a key present for two of the winds but not the third. The clock did operate when wound and chimed however further condition was not recorded. The glass door at the face is also ajar and will not fully close.
