Vintage Chinese Etched Brass Candle Holder

Item Details

A vintage Chinese etched brass candle holder with a yin/yang symbol centered in the top of the pedestal. The symbol is surrounded by a bird, vegetable and flower arabesque of vines, which create integrated yin/yang symbols in the design. The top of the pedestal has a slight rim, and the base has etched designs of bamboo leaves and stalks and cherry blossoms. The base has cut-out designs on either side.

Condition

- to fair. There is slight discoloration of the brass in the top of the pedestal.
