Vintage Goya "Si Querbó el Cantaro" Reproduction Etching
Item Details
A vintage reproduction etching of the original 1799 Si Querbó el Cantaro from the Los Caprichos series by well listed artist Francisco de Goya y Lucientes (Spanish, 1746-1828). The etching depicts a mother with her child in her grips, pulling down his pants with her shoe raised about to spank. The print is titled to the bottom, translating to ‘Yes, He Broke the Pot’ and numbered 25 to the top. This is set in a single mat and presented in a wood and glass plated frame.
Condition
- yellowing. The paper backing is cut open.
