Item Details
An antique etching The Old Elm Road by well-listed artist Ernest Christian Rost (American, 1867-1940). The rural landscape etching features a tree lined dirt road leading to the houses in the distance. Signed in plate to the lower left-hand corner reading “E.C. Rost 1890”. This is presented in an early 20th century two tone finish wood and glass plated frame.
Condition
- good to fair. Tear’s to the top and yellowing.

- for the frame. The visible image size measures 24.75" W and 14.75" H.
