A red and blue hand-knotted area rug. A highly detailed pattern on a field of deep red. The curvilinear patterning and motifs depicted are of flower blossoms and fern leaves with bold black outlining in rich magentas and pale blues. There is a tag affixed to the reverse marked ‘Lahore’. Lahore rugs are made in Pakistan.
Condition
Wear is consistent with age and use.
