A Bushnell North Star telescope. The telescope is a 3.0’/76 mm reflector and the number is 78-8831. The magnification: 525x and Max Useful Magnification: 180×. This telescope has the added feature of having 20,000 celestial objects pre-programmed into it’s system. With the telescope’s special ‘Go To’ feature, all the user has to do is put in the object you want to see and enter the ‘Go To’ command and the telescope will find your object for you. This telescope is not designed for terrestrial objects, but astronomy. The telescope comes with remote control, tripod with accessory tray, Northstar Instruction Manual, 4mm & 20 mm eye piece, and 3x Bar Low Lens. The telescope did turn on at the time of cataloging (with the remote controller working), however not all components could be tested.
