Vintage Zenith Console Radio and Phonograph

A vintage Zenith radio and phonograph in a console cabinet. This model, 9H881, was dubbed ‘The Chippendale’, and was introduced in 1948. The phonograph and radio controls retract into the cabinet when not in use, to look more like a piece of furniture. There were originally two arms. One played 45 rpm records, while the longer one was for 78 and 33 rpm records. Powered on when tested. One tone arm is missing.

Powers on. One tone arm missing. Wood accents missing. Dirt and rust.
