Item Details
A sterling silver rosary crucifix pendant. The pendant depicts Jesus Christ hanging from the cross with the letters ‘INRI’ across a banner above. The letters stand for ‘Iesvs Nazarenvs Rex Ivdaeorvm’, a Latin phrase which translates to ‘Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews’. ‘INRI’ is the title that Pontius Pilate was said to have written above Jesus’ head when he was crucified. The verso verifies the sterling quality, and displays the letters ‘AFCO’.
