Dinh Quan "Mother and Daughter" Lacquer Painting
Item Details
An original lacquer painting by Vietnamese artist Dinh Quan (1964-present). Quan works in a Surrealist style using the traditional method of lacquer painting and is known for his female figures. This original work titled Mother and Daughter (2008) consists of gold leaf on wood with layers of lacquer. The mother’s dress has crushed seashells incorporated into the lacquer. Piece was custom-framed in Ho Chi Minh City in a stunning gold tone wood frame with black wood mat.
