Item Details

A collection of vintage audio equipment features a 1948 Philco solid wood tabletop radio and 78 RPM record player. The electronics are not in the case; the needle arm and spindle are inside the record player. A 45 RPM Motorola record player in a white and aqua case with the iconic Motorola logo on the side doubles as a radio. The needle arm and spindle are intact. A vintage white plastic ‘viewmaster’ knock-off; a Sesame Street Oscar the Grouch plastic talking alarm clock features two trash cans, one on its side holding a mechanical clock, and one upright for Oscar to pop out. Oscar is not included. The cans sit on a plastic base of molded ‘brick.’ The clock is blue with white numbers. A Sesame Street Big Bird Sing*A*Long Band toy Featuring Big Bird; a York Solid State AM clock radio in faux wood casing; and a Sears X-20 military-style walkie talkie. The antenna is missing from the walkie talkie. Included in the collection are a red, plastic Soundesign Super 8 portable analog 8-track player with carry handle; a General Electric portable analog cassette player, black with carry handle; a white plastic analog cassette recorder with carry handle; a white, plastic 1960s-era portable, analog PlayTape Model 1310 two-track tape cartridge player with carry handle; a small green and white plastic analog Lloyd’s transistor radio with wrist strap; a toy plastic reproduction 1940s-era radio; three reel-to-reel tapes on reel; a glass bottle polishing kit; a set of antique military-style headphones; a vintage Soundbar speaker; and a Johnson Fleetcom transmitter.
