Two Vintage Ladies Powder Compacts
Item Details
Two vintage ladies powder compacts in a gold tone. This lot features a 1951 mirrored compact with the etched image of the USCCC Chinctegue accompanied with a signed letter of gratitude from commander West to one Miss Bennett. The letter implies that MIss Bennettt was in a singing contest on the ship and was voted by the men ‘Miss Heavenly Voice’. Also included is a larger compact designed with a pierced latch. Both compacts still carry the original powder puff.
