An original acrylic on canvas by Harriet Iseman. The artist was founder of The Harriet Iseman Community School, an alternative high school in Long Beach, N.Y. which opened its doors in 1972 and closed in 2012. The painting of a rooster on a dramatic red to yellow background is signed twice, to the left and to the lower right. It is presented without glass or matting in a thin silver tone frame; ready to hang.
