Hand-Knotted Kerman Wool Rug

A hand-knotted antique Kerman wool rug in red and blue tones. This large 10′ × 15′ Persian area rug is designed with an ornate medallion center circled by six smaller medallions on a bright blue ground. The center is framed by a five layer boarder with ornate floral patterns on alternating white, black and red grounds. This rug is signed in the pattern by the maker.

Condition

Wear consistent with age with loss of pile, repairs, worn areas.
