Vintage Metal Star Wars Lunchboxes
Item Details
A collection of vintage metal Star Wars franchise lunch boxes and a thermos. The black Star Wars lunch box has a red plastic handle and clasp, and the entire lunchbox is printed in black with fields of white stars. On the front is printed a star fighter firing on an X-Wing Fighter. On the back is printed an image of Imperial Storm Troopers questioning Obi-Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker and R2D2 at the Mos Eisley Spaceport while seated in a land speeder. The interior is in good condition. The blue Star Wars Empire Strikes Back lunch box has a yellow handle. On the cover is printed a scene of Luke Skywalker, Yoda and R2D2. The back is printed with a scene of Imperial Storm Troopers firing weapons. The sides are printed with images of Yoda, C3PO and R2D2, Darth Vader and an Imperial Storm Trooper, and on the base is an image of Jabba the Hut’s sail barge, the ‘Khettana.’ The blue plastic thermos has an image of C3PO and R2D2 printed on the front. Thee is significant rusting of the lunchboxes, and the image on the front of the thermos has some scratching and its outer lid is missing.
Condition
The Star Wars box has several small dents, minor edge wear and surface rust. The thermos is missing its outer lid. The Empire Strikes Back box has extensive surface rust on exterior; the interior is clean.
