Trio of Vintage and Modern Toy Model Planes, 1930s-1940s
Item Details
A trio of vintage toy model planes from the 1930s and 1940s, in miniature. The oldest is pre-1933, a Tootsie Toy UX 214 mono-wing plane, the same flown by Charles Lindbergh. There is also a Pan American DC-3 model from the 1940s, painted gold. Lastly is a more modern model of a P-38 Lightning fighter plane from Dyna Flites. These planes and the Thunderbolts helped the allies to win the air war in the European theater.
Condition
Some paint is worn from a couple of the planes.
