A splendid older Karastan ‘Ashara Agra’ Oriental style machine-made wool carpet, in the style of Agra and Lahore carpets woven during the mid-17th century Mogul Dynasty. The beautiful rug with red center field embellished with elegant scrolling vine and blossom pattern with oversize palmettes and serrated leaves in soft shades of ivory and celadon green. The rug has an ivory border with blossom and scroll design and retains the original Karastan label to the verso.
