A spring action mechanical Scotsman doll. The novelty doll in traditional Scottish tartan coat, vest and tam has a ceramic head, one wooden arm and one composition arm, a cloth-covered spring body and wooden base. The spring action makes the doll smaller and lowers his arm, as if drinking. The plaid is navy, red and black. His face has hand painted features.
