Redmon Woven Picnic Basket

Item Details

An oversize woven Redmon picnic basket with two metal handles, two-sided hinged lids, and decorative weave with reed and red cord. It is trimmed with cardboard binding. The basket was made by Redmon of Peru, Indiana which began in business in 1883 and continues in operation today. This basket dates to the mid-1900s.

Condition

Minor damage to weave and cardboard binding.
