A color offset lithograph of Nigerian-born painter Buchi Upjohn Agachi’s painting ‘African Musicians’. The loose, colorful brushstrokes, Agachi’s signature style show the men dressed in dashikis. The instrumentalists are dressed in dashikis and shorts while the percussionist wears white sokotos, a bright yellow dashiki and a fula cap to match. The men are portrayed against a murky, shifting background. The reproduced signature reads ‘© UpJohn’. The piece is set under protective plastic in a simple wooden frame.

Condition

There are some small chips on the frame, which is separating slightly in one corner. The paper under the glass appears to have waved somewhat.
