A wonderfully antique ‘Columbia Family Scale’ from 1907 made by Landers, Frary & Clark out of New Britain, Connecticut. This household scale was ‘the first product designed particularly for the American housewife,’ according to the owners at the time. It can weigh up to twenty-four pounds and has ounce markings. A screw located at the top zeroes out the weight.
Condition
Good to fair for age; has rust but tested as working.
