"Louisville" John Stobart Limited Edition Offset Lithograph

A signed, limited edition offset lithograph of John Stobart’s (England, 1929- ) Louisville: The People’s Line Packet ’Wild Wagoner” arriving at the Levee in 1868. Original work was painted in 1993, and was issued as a limited edition lithograph by Maritime Heritage Prints. Stobart is a painter of harbor scenes and ships, with an intent to preserve the beauty of the previous era. This image depicts a steamboat edging towards Corn Island Wharf, where Louisville began. Signed to the lower right, and numbered 198 in an edition of 750. The print is presented behind a gold tone linen mat, under glass, in a decorative gold tone wooden frame.
